Kai Schäfer is a visual artist capable of elevating the analogue object to a cultural monument, transforming the history of design and lifestyle into a visual and architectural experience. His research investigates the sonic soul of our collective memory, capturing with millimetric precision the aesthetics of mediums that have shaped entire generations.
With his celebrated project WORLDRECORDS, the artist pays tribute to the great albums in music history, portraying them on legendary turntables that become a personal "time machine" for the viewer. Through prestigious collaborations with icons like Lou Reed, Kraftwerk, and Metallica, the series celebrates vinyl as the most sensitive of sound carriers: the soundtrack of our lives turned into an image.
PEP Artists offers the works of Kai Schäfer in exclusive collaboration with Opus in Artem. The pieces are available in various sizes and in limited, signed editions.
